BIG PINE, Inyo County — November 4, 2026. The Big Pine Unified School District governing board race includes four candidates for two seats. Preliminary early-mail results show Mary Rossi and Kami Bayer in the top two positions, but later in-person ballot updates have since been issued by the county.

First election-night release

The county 8 p.m. early-vote summary reported by Sierra Wave lists Mary Rossi with 123 votes (32.80%), Kami Bayer 100 (26.67%), Adelina Rico 82 (21.87%), and Katy Carrington 70 (18.67%). Candidate percentages represent the share of votes in a vote-for-two race, not necessarily voters.

Not the final overnight ballot count

Inyo County published its fourth election-night report at 12:13 a.m. November 4, after this initial snapshot. The first report includes mail ballots received and processed ahead of Election Day, and does not incorporate all in-person Election Day votes.

Big Pine residents can find the official sequence of reports on Inyo County Elections’ results page. All totals in this report are unofficial election-night snapshots, not certified results. Precincts reporting does not necessarily mean every eligible mail, provisional, or signature-cure ballot has been counted.
